Head of Technology for a $100M+ single family office in London. Responsible for all technology across the office and its portfolio companies — strategy, security, vendors, spend, and the office's private AI platform — reporting directly to the Principal.

Before that, ten years of production AI in regulated institutions: ADNOC's reservoir-optimisation programme, an enterprise AI platform inside ADCB, voice automation for a multinational insurer, five years at JPMorgan. Strategic by default, hands-on when it matters.

Single Family Office · $100M+ AUM

  • Own all technology for the office and its portfolio companies — strategy, security, vendors, and spend — reporting to the Principal through a weekly decision brief.
  • Designed and delivered the office's sovereign AI platform: a self-hosted graph-RAG brain over years of mail, documents, meetings and deals, with agentic per-role assistants that reason across the knowledge graph and answer with citations. No data ever leaves our infrastructure.
  • Engineered it to run at a few hundred pounds a month — open-weight models on scale-to-zero GPUs, native tool-calling, entity resolution, and an evaluation harness gating answer quality — versus per-seat enterprise licences.
  • Made the build-vs-buy calls that set the group's stack: Shopify over a custom build for the retail arm, a proposed multi-week messaging rebuild killed on cost/benefit, EOR providers assessed for cross-border employment.
  • Transitioned the boutique hotel's entire operation onto a single platform within a quarter — every department, from reception to housekeeping to maintenance, now runs on it daily.
  • Stood up the same stack for the group's digital art marketplace in days — the second company on a platform built once.
  • Relaunched the group's TV production website on a modern stack, tested to ~50x the old site's capacity.
  • Rolled out a security baseline across every company: secret scanning, threat models, and access control.
